PlugHouse began in a bedroom in August 2015 but quickly moved to Green Lanes, North London, by December of the same year. The studio prides itself on delivering high-quality music at affordable prices, driven by the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to create music.
Since its launch, PlugHouse has expanded its brand by hosting three live music events, featuring notable artists such as MOBO Award winner Abra Cadabra, Afro B, Not3s, Hardy Caprio, One Acen, and many others.
As of October 2016, PlugHouse branched into artist management. The first artist under the roster was UK rapper 23 Unofficial; then followed by R&B singer Mnelia.
One of the biggest songs recored at the PlugHouse is '' Not3s - Addison Lee'', which is now a UK certified Gold record, selling over 400,000 copies, and was nominated for a MOBO Award for 'Best Song of 2017'.
Another huge song to come out of the PlugHouse is ''23 Unofficial - Ain't Bothered'' which is now a UK certified Silver record, selling over 200,000 copies.
N2theA (pronounced “N to the A”) is a multi BRIT-certified record producer, founder of PlugHouse, and the unsung hero pioneering the UK Afro Bashment genre in 2013.
After creating the early hits for the likes of J Hus, Tion Wayne, Kojo Funds, Not3s and Sneakbo, it is clear that he is undoubtedly an integral part of UK Black music in the last 10 years.
He has also shown his diversity in production through working with artists such as Nines, Chip, M Huncho, OFB & much more.
In 2022, N2theA released his first single as a producer-artist entitled ’Everything I Need’ featuring Zion Foster.
N2theA also graduated from Coventry University with a 2:1 degree in Events Management and decided to put this to use by organising The PlugHouse Show.
